Dallas, September 8, 2009 -- Larry Chandler, who has more than 25 years of industry experience in information technology, spoke on the topic:How to Gather Business Intelligence from Smart Retail Fixtures.” Retailers are looking for ways to retain existing customers. By using advanced technologies that involve radio frequency identification, digital displays, interactive screens, etc., retailers can create a new experience for their existing and new customers, Chandler said. At the same time, he explained, retailers can gather valuable information about which products are being evaluated, not just purchased, as well as what is in inventory. 5Stat is a technology company focused on providing software and hardware to enhance the retail shopping experience for customers while gathering business intelligence to benefit the retailer. 5Stat is the technology division of its parent company, Store Kraft, a retail store fixture manufacturing company.
